A cotton satin suit set with a two-tone tie-dye kurta and dupatta and solid straight pants, worked in dull-gold zari thread across the V-neck yoke and full sleeves.

  • Zari Placement — Dense floral vines and paisleys fill the yoke down to the V.
  • Back Buti — A single medallion buti sits at the centre back.
  • Tie-Dye Ground — The two-tone tie-dye runs through the kurta and dupatta.
  • Trouser Panels — Tall floral zari panels rise from both trouser hems.
  • Organza Dupatta — Large floral motifs at the ends, with a narrow zari edge.

  • Jewellery: The yoke is embroidered right down to the V, so keep to earrings. Oxidised silver or polki jhumkas contrast with the warm gold instead of repeating it.
  • Dupatta drape: Drape it over one shoulder and let it fall long, so the floral motifs at the ends sit at knee height in view.
  • Colour by occasion: Yellow, Peach and Mint Green suit daytime functions; Sea Green and Dove Grey carry well into the evening.

Is the dupatta included?

Yes. The organza dupatta with floral zari motifs at the ends and a narrow zari edge comes with the set.

Can I order it in a different colour?

Yes. It's available in 7 colours; choose yours from the colour options.

Will I pay customs on an international order?

No. International orders ship with duties prepaid, so there's nothing to pay on delivery.

  • Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
  • Iron on the reverse with a cloth over the embroidery.
  • Store folded in muslin, away from damp.

About the Craft

Zari thread embroidery brings tilla and coloured thread together: metallic tilla is worked alongside coloured threads within the same motifs, so the shine of the metal sits beside areas of colour.

Here, dull-gold tilla is worked with a brown thread, so the vines and florals read warm and antique against the tie-dye. The work fills the yoke and sleeves, gathers into a single buti at the back, rises in tall panels on the pants and blooms at the ends of the dupatta.

Each piece is made with custom work, so there may be subtle differences from one piece to the next.
